Echostar scanned the camp, who should she take to the Gathering? RoseClan was small, so she could not bring many. She already knew that Almonddash, Nightflame, and Silverpaw would be going. So that left Ravenfeather, Goldenheart, Thornstrike, Blacklight, Cherrywind, Berrypaw, and Birdpaw to choose from. Blacklight and Birdpaw had joined RoseClan earlier that day, she was patrolling and found them fighting over a piece of prey, and after talking a while, they agreed to join. The she-cat assigned Almonddash to be Birdpaw's mentor.
She called out, "Thornstrike, Goldenheart, Cherrywind, and Birdpaw will come to the Gathering. That leaves Ravenfeather, Cherrywind, and Berrypaw at camp."
Three cats groaned in disappointment, but they knew that every cat couldn't go.
Echostar turned to Almonddash, "Is every cat ready?"
Almonddash nodded, "We're all set!"
Echostar smiled, "Let's go then."
